The UIC International Center on Responses to Catastrophes, in collaboration with the Dart Center for
Journalism and Trauma at the University of Washington (www.dartcenter.org
) will host a mini conference in the Red Lacquer Room, Palmer House Hilton - 17
East Monroe Street. The conference will
feature presentations and performances by acclaimed scholars, poets, writers, photographers,
and research psychiatrists. There will also be open questions and
discussion. The mini conference is part of
the 19th Annual Meeting of the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies.
