Political Violence, Trauma and Narrative

The knowledge and meanings derived from experiences of political violence comes into existence largely through the trauma stories of survivors and witnesses. This symposium investigates several ways of approaching these stories that reflect the perspectives of multiple professional and intellectual disciplines and societal institutions from sites of global political violence.

A Symposium to be presented at the 19th Annual Meeting of the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies
